I-130 Question C17 & B7

I'm a little confused on question C17. The C section is for your beneficiary, so do I write my name since I am his wife (the US citizen and petitioner) or do I write his name?

It says, Information about your alien relative. List husband/wife and all children of your relative.

If it helps, I am the petitioner and he is the beneficiary and we are married and will be filing for the CR1.

As for B7, my name has been changed to his last name on our turkish marriage certificate, but I still have my last name in the states (will be changing it later) so should I put N/A in the blank or my maiden name even though I still have my maiden name in the states?

For C17 - Put your name. You are the wife of your relative.

(it's kind of redundant, but that's what I put, no RFE's or problems)

For other names used, put whichever name you DON'T have in the main part. If you put your maiden name in the top/main part, put your married name in other names used, or vice versa. I think the main issue is they want to have all names you've ever used listed on there.

Thanks! The name part is sticky because I have never used my married name in the states because all of my paperwork is still in my maiden name. I only use my last name in Turkey. Should I put my married name in there then, since I will be changing it later (possibly partway through this whole process)?

If you intend on changing your name, but haven't yet, I suggest you turn all the documents in under your married name. And change your documents as soon as you can

I am going to change everything as soon as I can. I'm starting with my SSN first, but I'm leaving the country on the 10th and won't be back until Nov. at the earliest, so I will be sending off the I-130 and trying to change my SSN at the same time. I'm going to see if I can also change my license since it won't matter if it doesn't match the name on my passport.

USCIS told me to use my maiden name since it hasn't changed, but I'm still wary. If I get my name changed on my SSN first, I will file under my married name. I will visit the SSN by the end of the week so hopefully that will get the ball rolling. I figure the SSN is the most important because the name and number will match when they check the records. Will it be a problem if I changed the name on my SSN but not on the other documents?

Quick update. I just called my bank and they said they can change my name on the account to reflect my married name so I will be filing the I-130 under that. Once again, great info and thanks!
