I'll also be going to the office in Fairfax, VA. How was your experience there? Were they nice? I'm putting things together and starting to get ready, but obviously getting very anxious now... :S

Yes, the IO we had was a very polite man, it was like meeting someone who wants to know you better. Don't take it like an tough interview, it will be ok. Relax, just be yourselves and you won;t have any problems. Good luck!

Well I'm really glad to have helped and enlightened you. That was one of the main reasons we wanted to start this thread, so other people won't make the same mistakes we did, or that they would copy the things we did right. So if at least our experience has helped one person, it was well worth it! Thank you so much for your constant support and your prompt answers whenever we had doubts. :)

Even with all the mess from the beginning, looks like your case took only 6 months which is a pretty good processing time!!

just read your entire story... fantastic... congrats again :)

they really should make a movie about this kind of thing (not like "greencard" from way back), cos some of these stories are really awesome to hear...

Haha. Thanks once more! I think they do need to make a new "Green card" movie. The Proposal is kinda the same concept, but obviously they weren't in love at first, so it's different from all these stories. Maybe one day I'll get around to making a script and you might see our story in the big screen. lol
