USCIS.gov website MSC receipts not able to track online or phone.

Mine still isn't showing up on the system either: MSC-06-306-XXXX, but I have my biometrics appointment in Sacramento, CA today so hopefully it may show up on-line in a few days? (similar to what other VJ posters have experienced here).....

what's the point in having an update system that doesn't work?

I hoped for the same thing.. today is day 10 after the biometrics. Nothing. Nada.

I went for my biometrics appointment this morning, and everything went fine, and now I've just checked the USCIS system on the tiny hope that something may have happened...... and my cases are now showing online???!!! B)

although I have just found out that an RFE was sent out for my I-485 application! I wonder what the hell that could have been for, I thought I had included everything?!!!

oh well so I don't know how this adds to the thread?! There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the USCIS update system??!!!

(Sigh)... still nothing for me. I'm going to call the USCIS again on Tuesday or Wednesday and see if I can't get them to fix it.

Glad to see your post.

I just started getting worried about my case because I couldn't access them online.

You and I are in the same time frame in regards to when our I-485 was received so I'll keep you posted on mine if I see or hear anything.

They are aware of the problem and they are getting 100s of calls a day regarding the USCIS.gov tracking site not working with MSC numbers.

Here is what the woman told me:

The USCIS.gov doesn't connect directly to the USCIS computer system that the USCIS uses to work on petitions.

All 3 of my petitions are in the main system and for some reason didn't get transfered to database that the USCIS.gov site uses.

They are fully aware of the issue, calling won't help get your apps to the website tracking.

They hope to have it fixed in the next couple days. She didn't sound confident on this one.

The petitions that aren't showing up at USCIS.gov site aren't going to be affected time wise because the main system has everything and is working properly, we just can't track the cases online.

That was ALMOST worth the 40 minute wait :-)

I am in the same boat as you BLY...Jamal had his biometrics on 8/5 and we are still not able to set it up on line...His receipt no is MSC-06-279-XX-XXX...same where calling in the numbers don't get recognized....I called last thursday and after 50 min wait got an answer that all is ok and it just the problem with their mainframe...was told that receipt numbers are valid and they are working on the problem that eventually will be fixed...God only knows when...so I guess we just got to be patient...

I've tried lots of different combinations for my day, MSC-06-292-XXXXX, doesn't seem to be a single entry I can find for that day.... After I try my 3 numbers I try a couple more random ones until I get locked out. I've yet to find a 292 combo that works...

I tried a 279 combination with the last 3 numbers reversed in order and it uploaded...this is really strange...I truly hope it will be resolved soon...Xmas...lol...maybe Thanksgiving...who knows...I just hate this total darkness....and lack of everyday thrills of being "touched"....you know what I mean...

Even if you are on the system you never get touched, so don't get too optimistic ;-)

Local Office : Dallas (Non-DORA)

2005-12-30 Date Filed : (AOS, EAD, AP Sent to Chicago)

2006-01-12 NOA Date : (No online status for all three cases starting with MSC #)

2006-03-18 Bio. Appt.

2006-03-30 Received EAD & AP : (Started Showing up case status online for EAD & AP but not AOS)

2006-08-15 Started Showing up case status online for AOS

2006-08-18 Got AOS interview letter, Interview date September 2006

Well our AOS starting showing up last night online. Because we got an RFE

LOL.. sometimes you just can't win...

still nothing on the EAD/AP
