I 134 Questions

At question 7, in the "I derive an annual income of..." bit, my self employed co-sponsor usually makes around 70k but last year he made around 20k... so is the annual income that from last year or an estimate of the last three years (I feel like I read that somewhere but I could've dreamed it)?

On question 8 I have a more specific issue. I live at the cosponsor's house (rent free), but I'm not (for various reasons) counted as a dependent on the tax forms. Should I write "partially dependent" or still include "wholly dependent"?

And question 10... my co-sponsor would write "None", as I was the one who submitted the I-129F, right?

And question 11, well my co sponsor says he can stay here and eat our food and whatnot, but there's been no talk of exact amount of US dollars given for support. Can I just write "room and board?".

Last but not least... can my fiancé have two cosponsors? If so, can one be living in a different state?

For a last non-I-134F related question, can you guys see my timeline? I tried making one but I don't know if it worked.

Co sponsor just has to be a US citizen or LPR.

Cannot have multiple co-sponsors for the I-134.

Current and ongoing income is what is evaluated. Not an average of several years. If the sponsor / co-sponsor is self emplyed then line 22 of the form 1040 tax return is the income amount that is used.

Co sponsor just has to be a US citizen or LPR.

Joint sponsor has to be a US Citizen, US National or LPR domiciled in the United States. If domiciled elsewhere then it is up to the discretion of the CO whether to accept the joint sponsor.

You should be listed as wholly dependent on the joint sponsor.

Good luck.

The joint sponsor would count the fiance(e) as the dependent. Not the USC sponsor. That is why you need the joint sponsor.

Good luck.

Do I count my fiancé as a dependent or does the cosponsor?

Thanks.

For form I-134 the intending immigrant is included in the household count for the primary sponsor and the co/joint sponsor.

For form I-134 the intending immigrant is included in the household count for the primary sponsor and the co/joint sponsor.

While I still thinkk the alien fiance(e) is not to be counted twice, that could be incorrect. It simply does not make sense that the ONE beneficiary is counted (supported) twice. As you know, there is no instruction regarding this and that goes for the I-134 even allowing a joint sponsor.

In any event there is no place on the I-134 form to list the number of household dependents. You list the facts and the CO will determine the number of dependents. You will not know what number the CO arrived at and made the calculations.

Good luck.
