I got an e-mail from a friend suggesting how to spend any "govt. stimulus money" that we might receive.

He pointed out that the only things made in the U.S. were beer, hot dogs and tattoos and that the only businesses that made any money were baseball, garage sales and prostitution.

So to support the economy you should take your stimulus money to a garage sale, pick up a tattooed prostitute, take her to a ball game eat hot dogs and drink beer.

Some element of truth in that joke.

Maybe some truth, but where's the guns and ammo?

I remember going to garage sales as a kid and there was always at least a couple guns for sale. Mom would have all the doilies and pot holders and old dishes, little ceramic cats, whatever, and dad would have some old tools and a shotgun or two.

Where are those days?

I'd tell the ATF to shove it up their @$$.... followed by a "govt. discount" on my particular item for sale! After all, a sale is a sale!

It's like those gun buybacks that were issuing $100 Best Buy cards. "Sure, you can take my brand new Jiminez .22 that cost me $79 and give me that $100 card. Thank you, sir! Way to get guns off the street and stop crime!"
