Im having my wife fill out these papers write now, the question is on the ds-230 form it asks for my wifes DOB and age, the thing is we are filling this form out in advance of getting the NOA 2 and my wifes birthday is in a little over a month so should she put her present age or should she write in the age she will be nxt month and date her signature as sometime after her bday or should she just write in her age now and give the current date?

Also she has gotten a new postal id in her name, my lastname, so that is enuff for her to be using her last name as my last name ryt? she said its like changing her name, just double checking

If you fill out the first part now and sign it with the current date (do not sign the second page yet!!!!) I don't see a problem with her stating her current age...what she could do though is fill and print everything out, just leave her age, date and signature blank and fill it in right before she sends it. and again, don't sign the second part! ;)

I cannot tell you anything about her name change, sorry

Also, watch out if there is any change or expiry of DS-230 form at the time of actual submission. Some form's prior edition may be valid, but some may not. Watch out that as well!

No problem, this form expires on 02/29/2012.

Well looking at your timeline........I don't see an approval within a next month......(not discouraging you, but the truth as it is).

So yes you can put her age as what ever it is going to be on her next upcoming birthday.......
