Everyone who acted in that movie should be banned from ever doing movies again. The investors who paid for the movie should be shot. And anyone who ever claimed to like it should be flogged with a thousand wet noodles.

I feel that way about the Dragonball, Street Fighter and soon to be Tekken movies. They're painful to watch and I don't know why developers don't protect the integrity of their brands better

No, seriously, I liked it. I thought it was pretty creative how they presented the story from each sibling's perspective. I also liked how it implied no matter how f'd up our childhood is, it's time to let it go and be successful at life as adults.

Plus, that old dude eating all that food was hilarious. Any time I get to see "Adriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan" in a movie, it's always a treat. And, I'll watch Kelly Hu do absolutely nothing - she's very talented.

But their childhood wasn't f'd up. They were just spoiled rotten. They had it all and yet managed to convince themselves their lives were #######.

Agreed - I liked the movie as well, well enough to watch it whenever it's on, or pop in a legal DVD when I want something to watch.

My wife likes it, also - is some 'loss of face' for her, to watch this movie, for a gweilo to 'know' the rituals where the children don't.

If you like this genre, really, I suggest 'The Civilization of Maxwell Bright', as well.

I avoid Tom Green like the plague. I don't see why he's funny. I liked Road Trip, but only because Tom Green was such a very small part of it. He almost ruined Charlies Angels for me. Almost.

That part was especially moving for me. Here were these kids who had, literally, everything they could want from their parents, yet they couldn't even respect them enough to learn their own culture?

"My mom is kind of mean." So what?

If you like this genre, really, I suggest 'The Civilization of Maxwell Bright', as well.
