Really! Can you tell us more about your request? Did you have to proof financial loss/hardship? I am hoping to file an expedited request myself and if you could give specifics to how you achieved yours, I would greatly appreciate that!

Congratulations :)

Actually I didn't have any proof of financial loss/ harship. I just called and send over some document releasing my privacy to them along with all NOAs regarding the application. I prayed and have Faith that God would make happen and he did.

If you call the congressman's office they can e-mail you the document. I called mine earlier and they e-mailed me the document then I faxed it and some supporting evidence over. She told me that they cannot really ask USCIS to do anything, however they can request that the file is looked at which will hopefully speed things up ...

Maybe it's different from place to place, I don't know.

Yes, you have to do the medical regardless of whatever visa you are on, but as long as you're applying for AOS a medical must be done by a Civil Surgeon recommeded by USCIS. The Civil Surgeon is going to give you a form that is require with you application called I-693. Before you go to the Civil Surgeon try and go to the Public Health Unit in your area to be vaccinated if you haven't done so already. Going to the Public Health Unit should be free of cost well depends on which States you live in. The Civil Surgeon cost will be $160-$200 again depends on where you are. Please don't be confused the Public Health Unit is not the Civil Surgeon. For more info on where to find a Civil Surgeon in your area visit www.uscis.gov. I hope this info is helpful to you. Don't hesitate to ask me for assistants with your AOS journey. Goodluck
