Well i don't have an interview scheduled YET, however i did book my medical for Sept 10th.

This time they allowed me to book one ( the last time i called they said to wait for the interview letter )

So at least i'm making progress in some sense of the word :)

Anyone have any news on an interview??

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Good luck!!

I am getting all my packet ready, just got the last visit picture print out at pharmaprix.

Do I also need to print out all the other picture that I use for I-129 ?

Proof of domicile and finance, can one use a monthly statement from the bank he deals with? (May statement)

How do people find out about the interview? Do you just get a letter in the mail with the date and time?

Thanks,

Marie

One way to find out is by getting Packet 4 in the mail with the date of your interview.

Another way is to call the US Department of State, give them your case number from Packet 3 and ask for your interview date. Here's the thread with info from Dodi on calling DOS, and from Darnell on what they can tell you about your case.

I ask when I booked my appointment, they told me it is $215 + extra if you didnt get all your vaccination shots (which will be expensive)

I got all my shots from my family doctors (updates and blood test to check if I have it done when I was young) ---> Free

VISA/cash are accepted, I didnt ask any other kind of payment options.

Welcome! Sadly Montreal is really slow.. Most of us have been waiting between 45-60 days now for an interview date.

Keep us posted if you get one.

September seems to be a very quiet month for us K1's. I thought after I got my interview date, I would be seeing all of you getting dates everyday!

I WISH that it were possible at this point. My fiance sent his p3 back in June and we anticipate getting our date in September for a late October interview--she probably meant that you'd get a date by the end of September, not have a September interview. Here's hoping for next week....
