Arrived at embassy at 5:30 am they allowed her in at 6:00 am. She had her appointment letter and used her NBI as ID.

By the way there was a service there that allows her to leave her cell phone for $150p.

Not sure of the times but process progressed as follows:

Went inside and received a number, when number was called she was finger printed and returned to her seat.

After about 20 min she was called for pre screening ( she called it Philippine interview) the inverviewer who was a Filipina had her sign the her ds 230 and asked;

What is your name?

Name of your petitioner?

What does he do for work?

Where does he live in the US?

How did you meet?

When did you last see him in person?

She ask for phone records, chat logs, western union receipts, and photos.

All this took about a 15 min.

Returned to her seat to wait her name to be called. Wait maybe 45 min and her name was called for the interview.

The CO was a woman who was very friendly she asked same questions as pre screener:

What is your name?

Name of your petitioner?

What does he do for work?

Where does he live in the US?

How did you meet?

When did you last see him in person?

Looked at the pictures then said the magic words "your visa is approved":dance:

Entire interview was less than 5 min.

Then waited for what seemed like a long time. Her name was called she was given back her photos and a pink slip with her tracking number.

Called me to give me the news at 10:10 a.m.

NOA Mailed 12/24/09

NOA 1 received 1/04/10

NOA 2 received e-mail notification 3/2/10

Congrats. Really cool that it seemed to go smoothly.

My fiance will go through her interview 20 August. Went to her medical at St Lukes yesterday and she told me that she was surprised at how smooth things flowed and that in her opinion (albiet a long day) that it was very organized and simple process to get through.
