We need some action this week. It was is my beloved's birthday today. I was secretly hoping to have an aproval for her birthday... but we are still sitting ducks... waiting...

04/02/2006 -- Mailed Petition

04/13/2006 -- NOA 1 Received Date

04/19/2006 -- NOA 1 Notice Date

06/23/2006 -- NOA IMBRA Notice Date

06/26/2006 -- NOA IMBRA Received

06/29/2006 -- NOA IMBRA Send Back

07/12/2006 -- Email Confirming RFE for IMBRA

08/16/2006 -- Touched

08/17/2006 -- APPROVED!!!! NOA2

Still nothing for me. After seeing Dwar get some action by having his congressman send a personal fax I asked my Senator (Durbin, IL) to do the same last week. I got an email from his immigration aid saying that he did it for me and 2 others from my state on friday. He said that he would follow up today and see if any action is going to happen. If he can "Git-er-done" I can say he has my vote!!

Wonder why your Durbin contact (clearly downstate) is 8 billion times nicer and more efficient than mine (downtown?)

I haven't even gotten any touches since they received our petition on June 21 (received date on NOA1) although the comp says June 30.... and we got our NOA1 on July 3...it's still reads July 8 was last action.....no touches or anything!! Is this normal???? Everyone seems to have gotten touches but us...it's been over a month with nothing!

May 4: AOS & EAD sent off.

July 28: EAD Card Arrives in Mail!

Aug 23: AOS Interview! APPROVED!!

Aug 30: Welcome to America! letter arrived.

Sept 7: Greencard arrived in the mail!

2009

May: Received Notice about Greencard Expiration end of August

July 15: Sent packet in mail!! (FINALLY!!)

July 16: Packet arrives @ CSC 10:52am Signed by V. Semegi

July 24: Received NOA (posted 7/21)

July 30: Received Bio Appt Letter in Mail

August 20 @ 2pm: Biometrics Appt. –

Sept 12: Approved!! Should be getting card within 60 days..

Depends what you consider ' normal ' . Some of us waited months to get touched. USCIS has a mind of it's own. Personally, I think they are full of more S**T than a Christmas turkey. To quote the wicked witch of the west, .." all in good time, my pretty, all in good time " . Hang in there, its really all you can do. (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
