I'm glad I started looking from the back, and missed the talking of what this thread might have been about before it. But, wow, I just spent time reading "articles" being discussed for foreverrrrr. At least it felt like forever while reading just now.

I'm always happy to talk about Latin. :) If anyone has any verbs they need conjugating, let me know.

I don't know any Latin :( I did do an 'o' level called 'classics in translation' if that counts?

The Birds!

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

That would be Class Civ, which is also okay. :)

Orinthes by Aristophenes!

We had to fill up our time during the A level years - only so many free periods allowed - one of the options was this one, it was a lot of fun although I have forgottem most of what I learned, oh well anyway we got to go on a cruise to visit sites of classic historical interest so the class was very popular. Up Pompeii!

Jealous about the cruise. I took Latin from the age of 11 until I finally dropped out of my Classics major my final term at university (I was burnt out doing a double degree with English -- I figured I only needed one BA anyway). I also took a year of intensive introductory Greek, which I wasn't nearly so hot at.

And of course those ancients also had some wicked hot sex lives.star_smile.gif
