I'll agree to the addition at the end, but I'm not wholeheartedly for cutting off all services. They should still have access to emergency services. Absolutely cut off benefits and other peripheral services though.

What if, the bill as it currently stands with the provisions currently struck down was enacted on a federal level with the following additions.

1) E-Verify mandated for all employment.

2) All illegal aliens arrested for any crime, regardless of severity are deported.

3) Any employer found to have employed illegal aliens fined $250,000 per offense.

4) 3% sales tax to actually fund ICE and other levels of law enforcement to effectuate all of this.

I don't think a lot of people realize that we won't be able to secure our borders without paying a price, both in taxes and the increse in consumer prices. I would be willing to pay it.

1) Good

2) Good

3) $300,000 for kicks, and the extra $50K to cover the government's legal fees

4) 0.5% would likely be sufficient. 1% if you're serious about hiring more hands.

5) On the flipside:

Those illegals not of criminal stock, are mandated that this final residency process will require they declare their illegal status, pay a $2000 fine per year (increasing by $1000 every year) they don't:

a) Join a government or private public works program geared at improving and maintaining national infrastructure- including urban renewal. With goals and accountability.

b) File for adjustment of status, along with the associated costs.

c) Those illegals not interested in the residency track can be included in a non-resident guest worker program.

How do you force illegals to pay up if they don't do those conditions in 5)?

If caught as non-documented (see above), they'd be required to work the debt off as employees of the immigration detention system at Federal Minimum Wage.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Agreed. Although I suspect you wouldn't actually need 3% sales tax to pay for this. Probably less, but I'm guessing.

Like anyone that wants to have a job done I will need to see some references of some of your past work.

?

Why should we treat the gov. any different from a contractor doing a job for us. eg: references. The only reference they can brag about is being a thief!

Then you guys shouldn't complain about health care costs. Health care is one of the largest expenses of a budget in countries with NHS, yet you guys want to provide it for free to illegals too.

When it comes to tax-payer services, not a single dollar should be accessed by illegal aliens; particularly not when you have over 60,000,000 Americans living in poverty. It's time America saves itself first, before worrying about the rest of the world.

Once access to free services dries up, citizenship by birth is removed and its made almost impossible to work, they will leave and not bother coming here [illegally] to begin with. The tens of billions saved each year, will then be diverted back for the aforementioned Americans that desperately need it.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

First of all, I comment that the costs of healthcare are out of control in this country, I don't complain. I have that so called "Cadillac Coverage" you hear pundits overuse. I think this is a fundamental difference we'll have here. I find it inhumane to deny medical treatment or police and fire services to people, regardless of their circumstances.
