You are a little out of date on this Shooter - and with this trend of making the carrying of identification a legal requirement, the US citizen is going to end up with less civil rights than their UK counterpart.

so tell me, sweatheart, how many AR-15 and aAK-47 can out little friend have in his home on the other side of the pond? how many pistols and rifles and shotguns and belt fed machine guns will he be allowed to have without anything other than a NICS check? hell, here you can build them yourself from parts kits and avoid the NICS process, entirely. i prolly have 200 rifles and 8 squad support weps in my collection, and nothing illegal about it. half of them i built myself from used parts at 1/4 of market value. now that's enough to arm a company, but not an army.

Well that isn't really true now is it. At the least, it isn't one a way street.

While I'll admit I don't have time to follow all of your 40,000 posts, I have seen a trend of you pointing the finger at folks who disagree with you. That they point the finger back sometimes should probably be expected.

Patronisms aside - I see no need for someone to own that many guns.

Yet it's perfectly legal and some folks do understand the need to own that many guns. The fact that you disagree with it doesn't necessarily make it wrong, does it?

Keep in mind when big brother checks our documents they could also be checking someone who's legally armed.

Even the cops don't get too frisky when their "subjects" are armed.

I don't care about post counts, never have. You're the one who keeps bringing it up as if it's somehow important to me. It isn't.

i mentioned it twice, because i find it sad. you're a articulate educated man. why do you spend so much of your time here doing nothing?

It's wrong to me. Just look at what happened in the OP.

You mean when criminals illegally stole some guns from a FEDERAL AGENT's house then illegally shot a police officer?

I remember reading in that story the man who shot the cop was shooting an AK-47. I didn't read anywhere that he was shooting 10+ guns at once or that his "army" made him any more dangerous than the lone act of him shooting a cop with one rifle.

Did I miss the part where it said this was worse because there were more guns?

No, cops just shoot first and ask questions later - and all so you guys can make these claims about your personal (and totally unnecessary) arsenal. Lovely.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

You're going to wish you had an aresenal too when cops are able to set up checkpoints and violate your 4th Amendment rights.

By that time.... it'll be too late for you to buy one. So sorry!

I don't ask you why you post. It's not my business, I don't really care. I could start speculating if that's the game you want to play.

No I am not, I will comply with whatever regulations are put in place and consider migrating back to the land of the free. I'm not planning a 'custer's last stand' type of suicide by cop even if you are.

10 guns really isn't all that many.

muzzleloader season I might want a 50cal traditional. hmmm maybe for sekas I'd get a 45 as well. Though I don't like the new style "inline muzzleloaders" with the scopes but there are advantages if hunting in an area where there might be shots over 100yds. Sure would like an old curly maple stock Kentucky rifle on my wall.----4 muzzleloaders, all with a different purpose.

However for the regular season I like my 30/06. But it would be nice to have a 30/30 for the really thick stuff. Might as well get a 22 for practice. Too late, already bought it but perhaps a 243 might be a good practice gun as well that can also serve as a back-up. 4 modern rifles

Wait, what about the counties I may go to that only allow shotgun for deer---lets add a slug gun to the want list.

Already mentioned 9 guns all serving different purposes and I haven't even got to waterfowling yet. 870 pump for my duck gun buty since it's only 3" i'd like a semi auto 3 1/2" for geese. Perfect for our "resident", how bout a 10 guage for tose blind weary migratory's. Of course none of those make a perfect skeet gun so I would like a nice light over/under 12 for that. How bout another of those over unders, but in 20 for dove. Dang, just added 5 more to my wish list and there is still the spring turkey season. How bout a hunting vacation out west that I'd like to take.................

10 guns trully aint enough!

What did people do back in the day when there were not so many guns to choose from and they still needed to pot some wildlife for dinner? Not that I begrudge a hunter whatever guns he feels he needs, I don't have any problem with people hunting and seeing it as a sport if they also eat the animals they kill.
