Hi!I just got married last Sunday July 18 and planning to file for Adjustment of Status, I want to ask if what is an Alien # is and if control number and visa number are the same? Thanks!

no, alien number is listed on the petition approval notice

Alien number is also listed on the actual visa, it follows A#. Control number and visa number are not the same. Visa number is written in red on the K1 visa
