Ok ive been reading how people been saying I recieved? Is it the petitioner talking or the applicant or both. Im the applicant meaning my fiancee is the petitioner for me he lives in the us i live in canada and filed the k-1 visa to go to him. do i need to recieve an email or mail too or only him? he only recieved the noa1. but no email. dont remember if we put one. is that optional? thanks.

The petitioner(the USC) is the one who receives the mails. Hang in there, your NOA2 will come.

You have to register for emails and test messages at USCIS. There is a number on your NOA1 that you enter and you can check for updates on the site as well. You both can register so that you both get emails and or text messages. I am from Canada and my fiance is from the US. If you have any questions on registering let me know.

if you have a laywer the lawyer will get all the info, but the petitioner can ask for "complimentary" copies, if no lawyer i s used, then usually the petitioner aka the usc will get it all, until p3 then the beneficiary aka you will start getting paperwork, p3 and p4 respectively. i would highly recomend your usc fiance send you copies of everything.
