case # assigned at NVC, whats NEXT???

I finally talked to somebody at NVC and got a case # which starts with MTL so its going to Montreal.

Could you please let me know all the next steps that will happen?

Almost impossible to answer you SPECIFICALLY, as :

1. no 'visa type' specified in yer profile.

2. official VJ timeline is empty , at http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=82610

sorry, forgot a couple of things.

marriage petition got approved and received NVC case # on July 19th as I called in they gave me that info,

did not get instructions from NVC yet.

Is it wise to contact them before receiving instructions as it says DO NOT PROCEED WITH ANYTHING UNTIL YOU GET NOTICE FROM NVC
