F1 to permanent resident

Hello,

I currently hold a student visa (F1) and I got notified by the NVC that my resident visa is available now. My mother is a resident and she filed a petition for me. I have never been illegally in the US. Can I do an adjustment of status while in the US ? If so, do I need to file form I-485-A ? or just I-485 ?

What other forms do I need to file ?

Thanks, :)

She filed with concept that you'd be interview overseas (not in USA) ?

and now yer here ?

and you got NVC notification that the NVC processing is complete with the DS-230 and the casefile is being sent to US Embassy overseas?

or

tell us exactly what this NVC notice says?

she needs to let the NVC know that you will adjust in country. she needs to call them with your case number and F1 visa approval or number, and see if she needs to do something to transfer the i130 to a local office.

you only will need the i485 since you aren't adjusting under the 245i law, you don't need to pay a fine.
