When my wife received a 221g at her interview, they returned her passport to her. Later, when she submitted the needed documents, I think she submitted her passport also. The Embassy told her to pay COD (cash on delivery) for her visa packet.

That sounds cool. Nothing like being in the company of your fellow Filipinas! kicking.gif That should keep you from getting homesick. tongue.gif Sure thing! I'm up for that. Let me know if you plan to drop by LA. Texas sounds pretty good to my ears. laughing.gif

Michael and Ivy Call the U.S Embassy to get updates on your case so you'll know what's up. Give it two weeks since I'm pretty sure that they have backlogs. Keep us posted! good.gif

The embassy gave Ivys passport back to her and gave her the air21 slip to fill out but told her not to pay until after she brings back the 2009 income tax records. Does this mean we are denied coz they gave her passport back?

They would have given her a DOCUMENT listing EXACTLY what they wanted, and in that document, are exact details for HOW to submit this stuff.

The visa wasn't denied - they could not issue it this day.

How could the Embassy LOSE this stuff, if for K-1 visa ? The foreign fiance is supposed to HAND CARRY IT into the Embassy, is NEVER mailed in, it doesn't travel with the I-129F (if indeed you included it with initital I-129F submittal).

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
