my packet was touched

I was expecting my packet to move as it was time, I sent it in to them in March and the first week of July should be when it moves. Well they touched it on the 6th and I am still in intial review. No email or text sent. Anybody have any ideas???????

Its always a good sign that they touched it. hope you get your NOA2 soon.

02/08/10: text and an email received ~ I-130 approved. (yes!)

We never got a single touch for our I-130 Petition. It was just approved after some time. So touches don't really mean much. But Goodluck, hope you get your NOA2 soon :star:

Aug 02 - Picked up my wife at 8:45 pm (Super happy to be with her again) =)

If you said that to someone outside of Visa circles they would find it rather strange.

Congrats. Hope you get your NOA2 soon because that means I might move up one spot on the list.

In my case, I had first touch on 5th May and my case was approved on 7th may,so if its 2 or 3 months since you applied for ur I-130 then its a good sign of hearing some good news..May be you will hear some good news from USCIS at the end of the day today...so hang in there :)
