My interview is in a week. If they approve a green card, fine. If not, I don't know what I will do. I have to be back in SK in mid-November for my parents' 50th anniversary. Panic is setting in. wacko.gif

50th jeez I bet they are ready for a bit of fresh

You'll be fine at the interview. I don't think you have anything to worry about :)

My lawyer is figuring they are going to grill me on the intent thing. We shall see. Legitimacy of relationship will not even be reviewed, in her opinion, because "No Canadians move here willingly" rofl.gif

Baldrick: "But sweet master, I have been in your employ since I was three years old - please do not dismiss me"

Blackadder: "That long eh ? no wonder I am so sick of the sight of you"

Don't talk that way about my saintly parents. headbonk.gif

Funny story (well, probably not at the time), back in the day my dad used to drink quite a bit (family trait, trust me on this). My older sisters were already out of the house, just my brother and I left (early teens, let's say). Dad came home schwacked again one night, after being out with his buddies. Mom met him at the door with suitcases, told him to choose which kid he wanted to keep, she would take the other. She just told me this a few years ago, about 25 years after it happened. Dad has not been drunk since, I think he was scared because he was going to have to take one of us. If she had taken both, it may have ended differently. biggrin.gif

Fabulous - you mom is Queen of the tactics

I can see why he would want to stick around a talent like that for 50 years

I bet even if Liz Hurley said "Come and have some Timmy Taylors in the back seat of my limo " - he would say "certainly not"

I have friends like that.

Leaves more rampant totty for them as would.

hmmm...my friend's wife doesn't have insurance. she has a large kidney stone that she feels needs to be removed surgically. she went to the hospital and the doctor said it will pass but it will take awhile and they won't operate unless it hasn't passed after a few weeks because she doesn't have insurance. now she's saying she will write her congressman, oprah, and dr oz. #######?

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
