I miss my dog. She thought I was the greatest thing ever. Gave me tonnes of validation. The cats - meh, I am simply the food-provider, kitty-litter-changer, love-when-we-feel-like-it woman. And I hate that the white cat wants love at 4 in the morning. Sigh. Even my husband isn't that demanding.
