After review, I am re-opening the thread. I have removed several comments containing personal attacks or insults. In view of the misunderstanding about the nature of the original topic I strongly recommend changing the title of this thread to something more reflective of its nature. I'm open to suggestions - as long as they are relatively reasonable :D . I kind of like "Idle Chit Chat Thread".

Those who wish to start a thread to continue the direction of the original C4C crowd may do so - but again, chose a different name this time and let the C4C and variations on that name rest in peace. It is time for another 'evolution' in that particular series of threads.

Heck, why do I turn up at every party just after everyone has gone home ?

Idle chit chat is for idle chit chatters and nobody can argue with that.

I prefer inanity and why it rhymes with Hannity. Is Prince Philip really the second coming and how awful that we only realise it just when he's about due to ####### his toes up..

Hope Liz doesn't read this by the way or I will be extradited

Now we have a 5 star example of inanity, any one for tennis ? Inanity made the Marx brothers famous and gave them the money to start Marks and Spencer - so inanity, and loaded ash trays, are not to be sneezed at.

My brains have been turned to floating oil/dispersant mix by America. I think it's the radiation from the rocks that sends everyone crazy. How else do you explain Alice Cooper and Lady Gaga ?

The loonys in engand like ozzy and billy idol gravitate to where they can recharge their glowing lobes - california. The evidence is in. The only americans who are not insane are the amish and that society is also a natural haven for people with lisps and /or faulty fitting dentures coz nobody will know.

I belong with them. I speak German aber gut and I like the smell of a wet horse when it's in somebody else's stable.

I didn't mind the mountain lions and bears and packs of rabid coyotes and paranoid tea baggers and the free fall club for walmart gals - but I would run 200 miles if gaga came round knocking on the door and asking if I thought the world was in a fix.

I saw a guy in Oregon at the weekend with his jeans waste round his knees and cameron plad underpants pulled up under his armpits.

I only have 4 rifles and 3 hanguns and I feel vulnerable here.
