LiLMermaid is right, we all deal with USCIS, we have to be patient.. I know it's so hard and annoying but we all go through this process.. And we never have to worry until we really have to worry! And with USCIS.. you never really know when it's time to worry, because they are so slow anyways, so i suggest just to be patient ;)

Well said. And while we all know this, we still freak out over simple stuff because we just want everything to go our way. I am sure that I'm not the only person concerned that I didn't receive my noa, as a matter of fact I wasn't so much concerned about the noa, I was more concerned about the fact that I thought I put the wrong address since most everyone's package is signed for by l.box (lock box) But now I look at other ppl's timeline and see that different ppl signed for the package.

I agree with you that I should be patient, it's the choice of word that mermaid chose to use "chill" That to me sounds like "sit the heck down and wait": and that's not how you talk to someone. I like how you said to be patient without being disrespectful.

My package was signed by R Mercardo at 10:55pm on a Sunday. It freaked me out a little bit too :bonk:

Now I'm doing my best not to post anxiety about getting the biometrics in lieu of the fact that we will be in Seattle and Hawaii for most of the month of September...thankfully our local office does walk-ins, so we should get the notice at least by September 8th...but yes, anxiously checking the mailbox every day

Check your DOB on all the 3 forms. I had made a mistake and mentioned the year of birth as 2010. THat made my check amount incorrect cause it makes my age <14 and I didnt have to enclose the biometrics fees in that case.

Hope this helps,

Sowmya

DOH, I put my husband's birth date as October ##, 2010. Uh, yeah, he isn't born yet. Guess he doesn't need to pay the biometrics fee, lol. So I fixed that on the form I-485 and on the I-765 and mailed off the package again with a check in my married name. I still can't believe on 2 of the 3 forms I put the wrong birth date. Thanks for the suggestion, because I almost just sent it back with out checking any of the forms and just making the check out signed in my married name which I thought was the issue (since the form letter is so vague that it really isn't useful to find the real problem). Mailed off the package again today so hopefully the NOA will still be in July.

Looks like my husband will likely get his work permit around his birthday and almost a year to the date from when we mailed in our K-1 and received its NOA1.

Your smart reply's of how I'm a pain, don't have to reply and to get a life and complain how I disrespected you? LOL

I told you to Chill..as did others and if you would have read my timeline you would have seen that I sent mine the same day. I didn't mean it in a nasty way but your attitude isn't bringing out my friendly side right now either. As a matter of fact its making me downright annoyed. You've posted frequently...I can see that from your post count. You must know how to use the features of this site. You aren't newbie, them I would just point in the right direction to find their answers. How many people have you seen day in and day out saying "OMG...I send my K-1 in a WEEK ago...I hope I get my NOA2 soon....and not even looking to check out timelines to see some poor people have been waiting years and at the minimum its taking a few months". So yes if I was a tad gruff in my reply it was because it is a peeve of mine when people can't take a moment to even look to see if their request is even reasonable.

Oh and I can and will reply to any post that I want to as well. Last time I checked it was allowed. Especially when you replied back to my original post. If you didn't want me to reply you probably shouldn't have quoted me and I wouldn't have gotten an email about it.

Oh thank goodness you noticed that! I told ya I seen somebody posting about that. The whole check thing sounded like a lame reason to send back the package, especially since it was still cashable. The OP that had that happen to replied to a post of mine further back and said they lost alot of time trying to figure out that DOB error:( I don't know why USCIS has to be so vague....I wonder if they only have so many options like a form letter and can't actually type out a real reason. That would at least make sense. I really hope I didn't have a DOB birth error in there along with the wrong form as well. Now that....would really suck. I'm scared to even look! LOL I think I'll just wait patiently and hope.
