I have been studying, for college, the direct correlation between the filth we see on television and the way our language has deteriorated in general.

Do you feel that language, poor language at that, has had an impact?

Do you feel that people swear more now than they used to?

Agreed. For example, if I'm in line at the grocery store and the 500 lb monster standing behind me insists on standing wayyyy too fu##ing close, am I better off saying "Excuse me, good sir, could you kindly give some space?" or "Yo, #######!! Back the hell up!"... the latter will yield results. The former will just make me look like a goddamn f#g.
