Extra part time work

This is likely a very basic questions, but I just can’t find it.

If a person gets a work visa for a specific job in the US. Can they also take a second part time job with a second employer?

If the original job ends. Do they have to immediately leave the US or is there a grace period?

If the original job ends. Can they take a different job in any field and continue to stay in the US?

If your employer is named on the visa, I don't believe you'll find that you'll be able to truthfully fill out an I-9 form for any other job.

Meaning, I don't think that most work visas was you describe give you a general EAD, only a very specific work authorization tied to that one company.

The work visa a person gets only allows them to be employed by the company who requires their services, no one else.

You cannot work part-time for anyone, you can only work for the company that applied your H1, if you look at your H1 it will have name of your company on it.

Second question for any reason if you lose the job with the company, you do have grace period I believe between 30-60 days to find job with another company who is willing to do the transfer of H1.

If you were hired by 1st company as accountant, then with 2nd company you have to have the title of accountant too.

As has been said, you unfortunately are not allowed to do this. I think it would make sense for the government to allow immigrants to supplement their income with a second job, but as of now it is just not legal to do so.
