Is it possible for my new bride to continue to write (and get paid) for (by) her former employer in another country while we wait for her I-485/765/131 to be approved? Or does the IRS have laws for foreign nationals working for foreign governments within the US boundaries???

it depends much, on 'how she gets paid'.

If she's paid electronically into her bank account in Russia, then is no issue of 'work remote' using a computer and the internet.

Not sure what to tell ya about any government job, though.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
