Legacy, you totally missed my point! Me a socialist? I totally believe liberals love to keep these ppl on the leash of welfare. Hence my remark, ** the ppl who keep them poor.

Of course, it's not possible that it's their own fault they're poor. They must be victims to fit into your pathetic little narrative. Everyones a victim! Loser.

Seems to me like if they are able to blow that money on casinos, they didn't exactly need that money for "necessities" to begin with.

Plenty of people farking the system though, there's a million ways. I know of one personally. Gets so much money for their kid they don't even know what to do with it all.

Why isn't there some kind of a system of accountability, where people have to show where the money is going to?

That would mean hiring more government employees to see it all, along with increasing their budget. It is well known that would make RWNs across the country cry. And really, aren't we all tired of their crying?

Actually I am not a right wing Nut as you state.

There are necessary government intrusions needed such as someone to oversee the money pay outs and the General welfare system the case loads for each case worker is huge and which makes their jb more difficult. Also with the emergency asisstance alot of people fake the entitlements to; both legal citizens and Illegal citizens abuse this and more oversight is needed.

What people cry foul on is all the unnecessary commisions out there that are doing nothing but spend money.

Oil Czar

Tobacco Czar

energy czar

etc.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."
