I dont think so, no one is forced at gun point to sign a credit application. But if you do, you have to be financially responsible..

The problem is, we buy/spent because we want things not because we need them..

Yeah I saw one of those guys the other day chasing an old lady down the street with a club. He knocked her in the head and dragged her back to his store and forced her to borrow money from him.

Noone in their right mind would take out a loan with 2500 - 3000% Apr. People do it because they live paycheck to paycheck while accumulating ever rising debt.

One of the reasons predatory lending is so big is because more Americans today have no family to lean on when times are tough. that is really at the root of a lot of our problems.
