I need your answers please... How long I need to wait for the schedule of my interview after my husband sent my DS-230 and civil documents.....

It will depend on a number of things.

Will there be any RFE's?

How busy is the NVC/Embassy? right now - very! this time of year everyone wants travel visa, seasonal workers wanting visa, etc.

What time of the month was the paperwork submitted? NVC indicates they will do interview scheduling in the 2nd week of each month.

I have heard of times when that is not the case...but it is what NVC told us!

Again...how busy is the embassy? it will make a big difference in how soon your interview date is.

Do you have all the medical process completed?

All say that the process of waiting up to 4 weeks. We have also sent my documents two days ago and I hope you will all end at the latest by mid-July!!!!

Again it all depends on the crowds I mean the amount of cases. Don`t worry everything will be done soon :)

November 2009- I-130 filed

December 2009- NOA1 Received

April 15 2010- NOA2 Received APPROVED

April 26 2010- Got NVC case #

May 2010- DS-3032 Sent and accepted

May 2010- AOS&IV Bills received

May 2010- AOS&IV Bill PAID

Jun 2010- All document sent to NVC

Jun 16 2010- NVC received I-864

Jun 23 2010- NVC received DS-230

Jun 29 2010- NVC began processing documents

July 20 2010- Passed a medical examination

August 10 2010 FINALLY I got a SIF!!!! Yeeeeeeeeee

August 10 2010 CASE COMLPETE !! Yupiiiiii

SEPTEMBER 15 2010 Embassy interview!!! Yeeeeeee :) :)

September 19 2010 Our wedding anniversary :)

September 15 2010 VISA APPROVED

September 19 2010 BOARDING flihgt to LA! :)))

September 19 2010 I`m in my husband hug!!!!

October 1 2010 I Received my GC!

September 15 2011 My baby born :)))))

My husband has send already my DS-230 form and the civil documents. How long I will wait for my schedule of my interview?

From what I've been told, the 2nd week of every month, they schedule interviews for the next month. So if the NVC approves you before the 2nd week of July, then you will get an August interview. However, if the NVC approves you after the 2nd week of July (ie, July 12), then you will have to wait til the 2nd week of August to be assigned a September interview.

While NVC will tell you they only schedule interviews the second week of the month many of us received our interview dates in other weeks.

Keeping in mind interview dates are dependent on how busy your particular consulate is; an August interview is not guaranteed with a NVC case completion in July if your consulate is one of the busy ones.

Last year we completed NVC mid February, waited until the last week of March for an interview date of mid-May.

Now if your consulate is not a busy one, an August interview is possible with completion at NVC by the beginning of July.

Thanks to all of you... Well I don't have any idea if the NVC is busy or they have back logged with this kind of case....

I have sent my documents (ds230) before 4 days. Today I called and of course say they have not received the documents. I sincerely hope that you and me and others who have posted at the end of June, will be all over in mid-July at the latest!

Yes,me too ! This is so frustrating,I can not believe that everything is going so slow. I think the consulate in my city is not so busy. Still I have a strong hope to be finished until August. For u too.
