I just found out today that two stats are converging. We are very close to 40% of Americans owning 1% of the total wealth and 1% owning 40% of the total wealth. For a while the latter stat was in the mid 30's.

The same 40% who don't pay any income taxes? Serves them right. I'd give them 0.000001% of the wealth, 1% is too much.

Why not encourage more Americans to emigrate to Canada or anywhere else? That's how Mexico and other Latin American countries gets rid of its poor folks and its working for them.
