Who forgets? I'm sure most people are aware that slavery went on beyond the America. We have several thousand years of history of it in fact.

Sure as hell doesn't sound like it here. After moving here I would think that white Americans both invented and patented slavery. Furthermore, that slavery still occurs in the US in 2010.
