problem with interview:(

well lemme tell u the truth,i am indian, so when i was in india in 2008 i was married fake in temple just 5pictures were taken at the temple,(but it was not a real marriage it was just fake marriage so i could show pictures at court to recive marriage certificate)my wife got interview appoinment next month where i am also going india and marrying her before the interview date like in temple only ,in my sikh temple which will be different pictures,i am just worried wht the counsulate who will take my wife interview ,wht if he had old pictures which i sent with (i-130)fake marriage pictures) i have lost the fake marriage pictures copies,im just worried like when i goto india next month im marrying her in real n will take alot picture wht if he has the old picture n he match and which is not same ( i wish they dont have the old pictures atall which i sent with i-130(

She should just explain the situation; COs are familiar with local customs and law, so if it is required where your wife is from to have marriage photos to get a marriage cert and be legally married, the CO will understand. I wouldn't call it "fake marriage" though, that sounds bad... say your legal wedding and a quick blessing was in 2008, and you had your religious wedding more recently.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I second Penguin_ie that - by your own addmission - don't call it FAKE... plz be candid about it and let the chips fall on their own. And hopefully now you realize that these wishi-washi ~ :P ~ make things very difficult for rest of us...:-)))

  • 10/13/2010: DS-230 IV package FEDEXED out to NVC
  • 10/14/2010: DS-230 IV package delivered at NVC as confirmed by FEDEX e-mail ~ signed for by J. DESMOND
  • 10/15/2010: I-864 AOS package review completion
  • 10/21/2010: DS-230 IV package review completion i.e. entered into NVC system
  • ??/??/????: Sign-In-Failed (SIF)
  • ??/??/????: NVC completes the case i.e. CC
  • ??/??/????: Consulate Interview Scheduled[/color]
