I remember when I was a kid that orchard owners used to put broken glass in the cement on the top of their walls. In order to save an apple being stolen they were prepared to cut some kids wrists or jugular.

That thinking has totally gone in Europe and is illegal - but it is still alive and well in the US where property and boundaries come first

If I am going to get angry at something, it will be at the thousands of Americans that have had their lives taken by the hands of illegal aliens.

Whereas, the US is still first world - well for the time being. Opening the borders in Europe was and is a no-brainer, doing the same here would be catastrophic.
