Ohh GRATS Huggles!!!

So this weekend in the new apartment, we saw tons of fireworks from all the diff parks. However my dog lex had panic attacks, due to the noise bouncing off the buildings :( He ended up in mommy's lap a few times and on the couch hiding under a blanket. Poor thing. he does this with thunderstorms too now. And for once we had a solid week with NO RAIN..none nada zip whatsoever..omg thought i'd never see summer!! lol :)

Awww... poor pup! COngrats on getting the new place -- that must be SUCH a relief and at least there are fireworks like maybe twice a year! :)

Congrats on the new car, Huggles! What did you end up getting? Is it brand new? What colour is it? Hope I'm not being too nosy -- Just curious as I just bought my first car and now I'm all excited about cars and stuff. :) My car is not new at all and not the colour that I would have chosen but it's pretty nice and I'm totally happy with it.

:)

We went all over today looking for the new iphone 4 and to no avail so we finally admitted defeat and went to order it at the AT&T store.. should be there in about a week. Good thing is, they've been ordered. :D

Hubby and I just joined the cool kids club and got iPhone's today. Had to order the iPhone 4 for me, and John got the 3GS.

Yay...I can finally get text messages and not have to worry about paying per message anymore. I was so cheap :D

Woohoo! Mine was supposed to be delivered today, but FedEx tracking hints that Yvonne slept through the doorbell. May have to make a speed run to the local FedEx center tonight after the truck gets back to base. :P

I got a new car! :)

The husband and I went down to the car lot to "look" We had a pact to play tough and not commit to anything. 3 hours later we drove off the lot with the car... But, they made us a good offer and I love it.

I'm just imagining that as Rod Roddy or Rich Fields on "The Price Is Right" yelling, "A NEW CAR!!!!" *cheesy gameshow music to follow*

Also, I echo everyone else's question -- whadjagetwhadjagetwhadjaget? :D

It's a brand new 2010 Mazda 3 in Celestial Blue. It's the brightest most brilliant blue color I've ever seen! I actually looked for this car in this color for almost a year and couldn't find it until this weekend. We're already in love...

I just want to say how nice it is to wake up in your first real home with just your husband and your pups, and have privacy, and be able to be yourself, and get sleep etc etc. :) I am finally feeling content and have nothing to ###### about..that is a first! lol

I love that you took pics of the closets! Oooh, and a gas range. How awesome is that?

Good day everyone. I am in the local Starbucks. Had to change rooms in the hotel last night. Well, actually, it was early this morning. <_< Waiting for a response from the hotel general manager regarding compensation for the situation. A floor full of yahoos moved in two nights ago. Asked them to be quiet about 12-1:00am:crying: the first night. Then called the front desk. Then spoke with the front desk again the next morning. When it began all over again last night we asked to be moved. Spoke with the front desk again this morning (to get the gm's contact info) and they said they were contacting the yahoo's employer as I believe they are construction workers or something. But not your typical construction workers. I can handle people like that. These people had something terribly wrong with them. It was in their eyes. I spent the first night after I'd spoken with them lying in my bed wondering if they were going to shoot me through the door.:crying:

Maybe this should be in the vent thread.

Yes, I'm sure krikit wants everyone to know where she is staying at.

You could post on yelp.com, I think that would have the desired result.

I felt that earthquake pretty well.

Freaked me out a bit because I thought it was a simple shake, then the house kinda went in circles.

Glad I was sitting down. It was a 5.7
