Hello folks,

A quick question if someone can help us with we would be very appreciative...Robert and Mai

If you have a green card with conditions (received green card before two years of marriage) can you still apply to bring your unmarried children to the US. Or do you have t wait to file once the conditions have been lifted?

How old are they?

Daughter will be 24 in July 2010

Son turned 21 in January 2010

they are too old to FTJ on a "K" visa

A PR can file at any time (conditions or not conditions)

They will be F2B and about an 8 year wait for a visa number

The visa category is F2B, and would currently take about 8 years (except for Mexico and Philippines). She can upgrade the petition to F1 when she get's her citizenship, which will knock a couple of years off the wait time.

Once she has her Green card she is a LPR... and can start the process...
