I like my cloth bags better than plastic ones anyways. They sit flat instead of just spilling all over the place.

Same here. And they hold way more items. Trader Joe's will let you enter your name into a weekly drawing for a $25 gift certificate every time you bring in your own bags, and Target will take off 5 cents for each of your own bags they use. The retailers will welcome this as their costs will decrease - we are essentially paying for the plastic bags in the first place.

What if they are already a DD?

Then they should move to Texas, and get a REAL augmentation.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

They need to conserve plastic bags to assist in the other amendment currently moving through the California State House, which would require all legal female residents to have breast augmentation if above the age of 18.

china and bengladesh banned plastic bags because the local people didn't have the discipline to use a trash can. they just threw them all over the sides of the roads like they used to throw the banana leaves the rice came wrapped in. need some deucation there.

people in india still throw the plastic bags on the side of the road. most disgusting country i have ever been to.

I know! If I use cloth bags I can do a whole shop with just a few bags. On the other hand, sometimes I come home and I'm like, holy sh*t I spent $150 on 3 bags of groceries

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - It could soon cost California shoppers at the checkout aisle if they forget to bring their own bags to the store under what would be the nation's first statewide plastic bag ban.

The California Assembly on Wednesday passed legislation prohibiting pharmacies and grocery, liquor and convenience stores from giving out plastic bags.

This is a most distressing tid-bit of news! After the big earthquake comes, and California slides into the Pacific Ocean, plastic bags will be quite useful as personal flotation devices...
