He is always the primary sponsor and will fill in the AOS form. His father can be a co sponsor assuming your fiance needs one and the father makes enough to sponsor at a level needed ( His father needs to cover himself, the wife their minor children and you )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

The primary sponsor always files I864 when a co-sponsor is involved. And the co-sponsor files I864A.

Sounds to me like you didn't read the I864 instruction manual. Please read that. It has a wealth of information pertaining to your unique situation.

(Read the instructions to be sure, but I think . . . ) Since they live in the same household, the father and mother (if they file taxes jointly) will fill out the I-864A. If he lived at a different address, then he and his father would file I-864, and his mother would fill out the I-864A. But as I said, double check, to be sure.

Why are you complicating the situation and the answer, especially when you aren't even sure of what you are talking about?
