They will know about your previous visa and you will be questioned because of it. Also they will ask about how long between the first relationship and the second one. If the time was short it will look to them like you were fishing for someone to get you to the US. The best thing is to be honest. It will most likely slow things up as they will want to be sure you have a real relationship but you should eventually get your visa.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

The poorer the living standard in the foreign spouses country the more they will look at the relationship to see if that person is using a USC as a way to escape the home country. Nigeria, where my husband is from is probably on the top of the list as far as men using women. So they look to see if you are trying to "catch a husband" to leave. Be prepared for these kinds of questions and feel lucky if you don't get any.

I am not sure if you will get an rfe before your interview. If you don't make sure you mention it the first contact you get with them. Joseph also is used to what I consider sideways date entries and we deal with it all the time.

Yes it is strange where some of us find our perfect mate. The world moves in strange ways. When in comes to immigration the internet has allowed some ill intended people to find those with poor investigation skills , and they use these people to get into the US. It seems a lot of people think everything here is just wonderful and free. For this honest couples pay a terrible price in what we must do to show that we are truly a couple. Joseph's first visa was denied because he couldn't reveal details of what I do at a classified employment site. We had to go through it a second time and wait through a second year.

We didnt have pictures of wedding either. We got married in govt building and we forgot the camera (since you cant take it in the embassy) and after we got married we just walked all around cairo just enjoying the beautiful day and stopping for tea. We then shopped for groceries to go back to his sisters home and he cooked the most amazing meal for me...no famiy around us really. I didnt even meet his parents then (I met them a year later) due to unusual circumstances. We just sent photos from both trips days before we got married and days after...showing we were together throughout all the times I have been there with him (3 trips). Just remember to be honest at all times. You can write a letter to them about the correction on the birthdates make sure you write a case number on the letter (I would include a copy of ID or birth cert. to show the correct date). If he is to travel again soon to see you, insist on photos, you dont have to have millions of them...a few would be good enough on different days.

GOOD LUCK
