Hi guys and gals,

So I'm here in the US on my K1 visa. Today I went to the Social Security office and applied for my SSN and everything went fine and I was told I would get it in two weeks.

So I was wondering what I need to next and if I should of done anything else?

We marry on the 4th of July.

From what I know the next step is to marry then file for AOS and EAD, is that correct? or do we need to do anything now? or anything more?

Thanks a lot for any help/advice! :)

Shane

specifically the K1 timeline here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow start at 14 or 15 to make sure you don't miss anything.

Then, check out the AOS guide and also the thread for AOS in my signature which should help you out too.

Welcome to the US :)

Thanks a lot for those links. The K1 timeline was very helpful, just what I was looking for.

Thanks again,

Shane
