Received Mail With Case Number

Good afternoon all. I received a mail a couple of days ago with our MNL case number dated May 13. What do i do next? My fiance havent receive anything from the embassy back home. I was under the impression that she was suppose to receive a packet from the embassy with all the forms to fill out and then we can schedule the interview. Should I go ahead and call the 888 number and schedule an interview? Should my fiance go ahead and get her medical done? Also, this mail was sent to me but had her name instead of mine. Your fiance is supposed to get package 3 from the embassy. I would wait a little while to see if she gets it. But you can always ask the embassy if they got your approved petition, be sure to tell them your case number too.

MNL doesn't send out a packet 3 for K-1 anymore - all of the forms are downloadable from the MNL website.

Also - now that you have MNL casefile # - start calling DOS, once a week, asking for casefile status (# in my profile)

Thanks for all your replies. I wish I would've known that they do not send the package anymore. How much time do I have from the date I received our MNL case# to schedule the interview? Because we're just now gonna start filling out the paperwork required for the interview. Also, is this the link for the pakcet 3? http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3238.html in the bottom where it says K1 interview preparation. Just want to make sure. Thanks again.

I already have my interview done when my i received what they called Packet 3. When my fiancé got the case with MNL we waited for a week and call the 888 call center to schedule for the interview. When you able to schedule the interview date , then u can get the medical done, advisable a week prior the interview date.
