My husband filed I130 last April 2009 and I129F last December 2009 for K3 visa. Husband receive biometric appointment last Feb 2010, after that we received a text message saying they transferred our application from CSC to VSC. They received our application at vermont last April 22 2010, and the last update that I just read was Still processing. Husband called USCIS for some information about our case but unfortunately he just got answer machine. They said, we must wait 180 days before asking some questions. I just wondering we waited results from California Service Center for over a year and happen nothing. And now its transferred to Vermont and wait for 180 days again. Its like we're getting started again. Is this normal? please, I need some information. thanks for advance. God bless you

I've read it's impossible to contact CSC and VSC directly -

however, at this stage, the USCIS hotline will have some info on this - but -

when you call - you need to talk with 'immigration officer', and NOT the first person you talk to - see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/252568-how-to-reach-a-person-on-uscis-phone/ for 'how to do'.

Alternatively, your spouse can set up an infopass appointment, then ask for 'service request' , face to face at a local USCIS office .

A service request triggers a search for the casefile, and the casefile must be found and reported on, within 30 days of the service request.

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
