big freaking dilemma for an RFE i got

yea i think he did get it made one from nadra but i wonder what was it that NVC thinks its not original. lets see in 10-15 days what the supervisor says..

If it is the NADRA one, then I don't blame NVC. When I saw it tool thought some printed it on MS Word, the fact its all black does look like its a copy. One way around it that I am thinking is that I will get it translated any ways, since some of the lines on there are Urdu, and the translation will have that golden stamp on it, and may be send in the 'original translation' along with certified copy of NADRA.

Get you hubby working on some Doc that has bunch of stamps and seals to validate the originality of the NADRA BC, while the supervisor will get back to you to save time.

Let's ask some people who are very far in their NVC process to see which BC they sent in.

i did ask him to send me another original one and makes sure that the stamp/signatures r blue so NVC will b able to tell the difference from photocopy to original.

lets c what the supervisors says. i'll mail the birth cert. as soon as i get the mail from hubby. coz lets say the supervisor replies back 2 weeks later saying i have to send in another one, by that time they'll receive my mail.

just to save some time u know. coz they start reviweing doc's after a week getting the mail

ok so i talked to NVC and i told them its original and she said they're going to send it to supervisor??? and i should wait for 10-15 days...u think there r chances supervisor will agree that they're originals. i asked her to transfer to me supervisor but she didn't.....

meanwhile i'll ask my husband to get another original one (signed/stamped in blue ink) and mail it to me.

So - you did not speak to supervisor directly.

she didn't transfer me. i asked her to transfer me. should i demandddd or what should i do?? coz i dont want them to go through the whole process again and wait for 15 more days to get the answer coz its just one freaking paper they'rh confused about...helpppp

please don't take this 'the wrong way' - but -- if you were unable to get to a supervisor, something's wrong with yer approach when yer calling NVC.

Can't tell you what it is, but you should 'shift a bit', change yer approach - the one you're using now isn't working for you.

that's the thing with me, i'm too nice with ppl. this is like the 3rd time i asked for supervisor since i'm in NVC processing. they say no to me and i'm like okay. lolz.

alright so u tell me how should i change my gears and ask them. lolz

i called them twice already since morning, i hope they dont get pissed at me again if i call them but i'll try.

i called againnnn for the 3rd time today lolz. they said everything else in ds230 looks fine and its just the birth certificate. she said she has no info as to y they said its not original and supervisor is going to review and if not accepted, he/she will leave a note and tell u exactly what they want. she didnt transfer me to supervisor again coz she said only if the supervisor has ur ds230 and is reviweing it, we'll transfer u then. when should i try back tomorrow??

i told her if NVC requests me to send another original one, i'll send them exactly what they have coz this is how the original document will look like if i send them a 2nd one. what will they do keep on rejecting it????

the gov't authorized the birth cert. agency only to use that black ink stamp they're provided with and that doesn't make the form a photocopy.

It's fun to laugh, I've heard that rumour.

I'm old cranky curmudgeon, I never laugh at anything that's related to NVC Processing. Ever.

'Getting to a Supervisor' is useful. A Supervisor can speed things up. FWIW, the 'Supervisor' doesn't have yer case - the casefile is on someone's desk (not a Supervisor).

You have an issue - you need someone with the right computer access to clear the issue. Yer not getting to that person, and apparently that's OK with you.

darnell seriously u've been a big help throughout the NVC journey. i need ur help again in this last step perhaps. i told u, i asked that operator to transfer me to the supervisor and she was like i see that ur case has been transferred to supervisor for review but the supervisor will only b able to tell u whats wrong once they've looked at ur stuff. i seriously don't want my case to be delayed coz i want a july interview. tomorrow, just watch how i'll demand them to transfer me to the supervisor.....

what r the things i have to say?? coz whenever i ask them to transfer me, they like ignore it and say no and i try to be nice and don't ask again (stupid me).

again i called, operator said supervisor can't tell u anything until the department(who's reviewing birth cert) makes a decision if it's original or not.

i don't know how else to tell them i need to speak to the supervisor, i tried different ways, they never transfer me.....
