Medical Appoinment?

Hey guys, so the case finally got completed today, I hear there's like a 3 month wait period before the actual interview...

So what does one do now...should I as a beneficiary...set up a medical appointment for me...and get it done??

Or should I wait for NVC to tell me...when it has to be done...

I am not so sure about what to do now...it's just that...I have the time right now and want to get it done and over with...so should I...or theres an expiry dates on medical documents...like...it's only valid for 3/6 momths??

2008 July 5 -- We met!

2008 Aug 9 -- He Proposed, I said YES !!

2009 Aug 21 -- Officially got engaged in front of family!

2009 Nov 22 -- We got married`

2010 Jan 08 -- Filed I-130 !

2010 Jan 14-- NOA 1

2010 Apr 21-- Text recieved by USCIS indicating Approval-- NOA 2 hard copy mailed out Apr 20--[unbelievable how fast they responded with the approval in 4 working days]

Your I-130 was approved in 96 days from your NOA1 date.

Congrats on case complete! You can get a medical appointment once you get your interview letter (you must bring this to the medical). There are 4 physicians in Canada that do the medicals, one in Vancouver, one in Toronto, and 2 in Montreal.

The medical is good for one year. There is a bit of a wait for interviews so sit tight. If you don't have vaccine records, you can work on tracking those down or get your titre test done.

IIWY, I'd wait until have 'appointment letter' in hand, before making the medical exam appointment.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
