K1 Interview: Oct 5th 2009 9:00AM Islamabad Pakistan.

Since last 8 months after my interview didn't hear back from embassy.

On the interview date after 2 hours of my interview i received 3 calls from embassy.

They talked 1 time to my mom and 2 times with my father, wanted to enforce are when marriage was arranged, although we did only engagement but i dun know why they were forcing my father to accept marriage.

After that they collected phone numbers and addresses of my siblings.

since last 8 months please suggest.

Dear friend,

marriage based cases take time, specifically if its Gori to Desi marriage. You need to keep all your records of phone calls to her, besides she should be able to visit yuo in Pakistan to show extreme interest to marry. All your family members should be aware of your relations, no false statement to investigator will make your case finish soon positively. Good luck

Has your fiance been doing inquiries from her side with Senate or House immigration liaisons?

What did your father say to the consular officers?

Did your fiance go to the interview with you?

1. No she is not doing inquiries from her side with Senate or House immigration liaisons.

2. My father told the consular officers on the phone that yes we were in the ceremony and we did marriage, and the councilor officer was asking again in actual what happens marriage or some thing else? my father agreed for marriage.

3. No my fiancée didn't went with me at the interview.

No never we didn't marry nor had marriage ceremony

Your father told the Consular Officer that you are already married?! Did you do a marriage ceremony?

The way you've said it, you are not eligible for a k1.

We did only engagement b/c of my family angry with me, i took my fiance out of home town, and when councilor said like when your son got married(fake statement) my father thought i have marry without acknowledging them.

Okay, you're in trouble. The Embassy now thinks you are married and you need to be working to figure out what to do. After 8 months, it is entirely possible they will deny your case on the grounds that you are already married. You need to get working on Senate or House inquiries on your case to find out what is going on and to help assert that you are not married. Cases like this in the past have caused people to have to actually get married and start all over again with an I-130.

From the past cases on this site (limited experience, I know) your assurances will mean nothing. How in the world do you prove, non-marriage, you know? You cannot go and get a certificate from every single area in Pakistan saying you are not married. . .you know?

For the Senate or House liaisons, your fiance has three reps, two in the Senate and one in the House. Each rep has an immigration liaison who can do inquiries on the case. She can go to their website to find the phone number and the inquiry permission form. She should call and speak to the immigration liaison and explain the situation to see if they are willing to help. Whoever seems most helpful is who she should start with. They can usually get more information than we can.

Basically, the notes just mean that the case was looked at on those dates. Being so recent, this may mean that you are close to an answer. . . .
