How long take to process a Green Card for parents of US Citizen? (Bogota)

I was wondering how long take to process the green card for parents of an US citizen.

My parent is from Colombia.

I don't know about parents from Colombia, but it took my mom's best friend 15 years of processing to get a green card for her brother (from Mexico), but most of her other siblings only took 3-5 years.

I am sure that parents are in the same category as spouses, which means they don't have to wait for a visa number to come. Instead, they can file the application at anytime. But what I don't know, is how long takes from filing the case until the interview comes. I believe could be somewhere between 6 months and a year for the Colombian embassy but I am not sure.

I-130 - 5 to 8 months (may be less time, depending on service center case load)

NVC - 1 to 3 months (IF you drive documents into NVC, not 'wait' on anything to be mailed to you)

Consulate - 1 to 4 months

The entire process takes about 12 months since they are considered immediate relatives and don't have to wait for a visa number.
