Since most Ghana interviews are being scheduled about 8 months out for our NOA-2s do we need to request an extension because our interviews are past the experation date (6months) or will it be done by the embassy automatically?

We are already so frustrated as a group I can just imagine what they are gonna make us do for other things!

Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. My fiance just picked up his packet and got an interview for November 1!

It's frustrating, but at least we have plenty of time to make sure we get the forms right.

Could you be so kind as to complete a time line for us? If you have a Nov 1 date, how long was your wait in between your approved date & the time you recvd your interview date? How far out are the dates being given? 5-6 months? etc. Thanks

Sorry, I haven't been online for a few days and didn't see this. My timeline is below. We were delayed a little getting the interview date because my fiance never got his pick-up letter and the embassy sent me a copy via snail mail. The letter was sent April 13, but I didn't get it until the first week of May, so I assume our interview date could have been a few weeks earlier if he had been able to pick up his packet earlier. The interview is a little less than 6 months away.
