hello to all vj's

I appeared for interview in islamabad embassey on 21 april under f2a category. CO asked several questions and after a while said those nerve shattering words that " all is well but putting you under AP. it been 21days now, i wish and pray for all in AP that it get over soon

Sorry to hear that ur in AP but now a days its normal process and i m in AP since Jan 28 2010 and till now i m waiting for visa approval so just wait and be patient.... it will over very soon keep us in ur prayers.... :thumbs:

woww. i feel bad for u guys. background check takes that long?? let's c what they do with my husband... i hope they don't put him in AP but i have the feelings that they will........

but i have a question, our case is like very very straightforward, both of us r working, he's doing Msc and i have done Bsc, no criminal history. my husband has never traveled abroad or has been divorced. i don't see a reason y they would put him in AP but then again u never know our pakis....

IR-1 / CR-1 Visa

2010-04-19: approved online wohoooo

2010-04-24: NOA2 hardcopy received

2010-04-26: gave 2 email addresses and assigned case #

2010-04-27: received/sent ds3032, AOS bill

2010-05-01: IV bill became available online/paid

2010-05-06: sent in DS230 package via express mail 9:07am

2010-05-11: NVC acknowledges the receipt of AOS on 05/05

2010-05-13: operator told me that AOS sent to supervisor for review....

2010-05-14: AVR changes to received the checklist letter response on 5/13

2010-05-23: RFE for original birth cert. (i did sent original).......arghhh

2010-05-24: BC under review by some department

2010-06-02: sent in original BC again and previous BC is still under review

2010-06-10: NVC recognizes BC into their system

2010-06-15: BC under review

2010-06-21: SIF!!!!!omggggg soo happy 57 days in NVC process

2010-06-28: interview on Aug. 19, 8am.

2010-08-19: interview went fine but he's put into AP :(

2011-01-09: almost 5 months in AP "still pending"

2011-02-06: 5 and half months and still counting......when is this torture going to end....

2011-02-20: 6 months still no answer..........

2011-03-08: more than 200 days passed in AP..................(

2011-03-24: visa has been issued today. hurayyyyyyyyyy finally wait is overrrr.

2011-03-26: got the passport wohoooo

No one realy knows, if they will put on AP or not. They will see at interview, my father is well educated and no crimnal history...but he is in AP since December 2009. Goodluck

Your absolutely wrong bz everyone is going in AP through the Islamabad embassy...

ya and i never heard that our country was in a better situation. always something going on. especially, now that they caught that paki guy for 42nd bomb scheme. some of our innocent pakis r screwed for no reason. those who would've gotten their visas without a problem, will go through AP, THANX to terrorists group living in pakistan for making other lives miserable. aughh

Yeah... because 2 or 3... all of u r punished.. it sucks... I met some people from pakistan when I was living in Spain, they were such a good friends, and workers.

Good luck to all of u, hope to leave the AP nightmare very soon.

what is your visa category? and Ap wait timings is same for all category

Be prepard to asnwer questions like

1 why you want to go to usa, what you will do there, details workplace knowledge of spouse/or petitioner, prior travel history to us or any other country

do take you previous passport also

My visa is CR1 alhamdulillah i called to embassy on friday and they told me that ur visa has been approved... thanks to ALLAH...

Hopefully he won't be in AP, but the probability is quite high. I'm a British female and I've been in AP for 12 weeks - if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone!

o wowwww. that kinda sucks huh.. i'm expecting my case completion and interview date assigned by NVC at the end of this month. i've told my husband to b ready for the AP after the interview. coz u never know wat might happen. i really wish my aunt or uncle was working in that embassy then i wouldn't have any problems lolz.
