I just became a member of this forum today, and it's already been very very helpful!! 1. My first question is do i need to send a copy of my fiance's birth certificate with the I-129f? Ive heard a few different answers. I want to send anything that helps, but the copy i have didnt come up all that clear, its not bad, but just worried that it could be sent back just because of that. 2. Is it advisable for me, the petitioner, to send a birth certificate and passport copy? or should i just send one of the two 3. Can i just make copies of my pictures onto regular paper, cut them out and put 3 or 4 on one page with the names and dates right below each one, or do i have to put that on the back? May have a few more questions, but im looking through the forum as we speak searching for answers for some of them. Thanks guys

1. No, you don't need to send a copy of the beneficiary's birth certificate.

2. A copy of either your birth certificate or your passport will serve as proof you are a US citizen. If you choose to use the birth certificate then be sure to copy both sides, even if the back is blank. If you choose to use the passport, then copy every page. If your passport contains visas or entry/exit stamps that prove you've met your fiancee then you'll probably want to copy those pages and send them, regardless of what you use to prove citizenship.

3. You can print multiple photos on a single page. You don't need to cut them out. You DO need to label each one for date, location, and who is in the photo. You need to tell USCIS what they're looking at. Some people just paste the photos onto a page in a word processor and then type a description under or next to each photo, and then print the finished pages.

thank you very much, your answers help! Another question, on question #10 it asks how citizenship was acquired, and mine was birth in u.s. It then asks "Give number of certificate, date and place it was issued"...do i need to include this info if i am not attaching certificate with I129f? I just requested my birth certificate, but it may be a few days and my goal is to get this out by friday.

You will have no cert number if you were born in the US, unless I am reading this wrong. Check out the example forms in the blue bar above this thread.

Another question I have....When I send the I-134, will i need to send the previous years tax return, or the last three years? Reason why i ask is because this last year i made $27,000 , the previous two years were right at about $20,000. and on those previous two years returns i claimed my sisters daughter and would just like to avoid any complications if i can get around submitting those two. I Will have a co-sponsor just to reassure them. My father makes well over $150,00.00 so i think that will help out quite a bit, and he wouldnt have a problem showing the last three years of his tax returns.

Thanks guys

While for many the "norm" has become sending 2 or 3 years tax returns the most recent years is the most relevant.

If you are concerned about the info contained in the previous years just send the most recent along with your most recent pay stubs, bank statements and Letter of Employment.

If its just the two of you a co-sponser would not be required based on the income you mentioned for last year (as long as that remains current).

This is so handy, im so glad to be a member of this forum now. I will definelty be sticking around, and would love to advise people once i get this process done successfully. Another question, im suppling phone card bills from raza.com from a year ago until now, (over $1000.00 in phone cards btw). The pictures i am supplying are all from my trip from march 9th - april 20th 2010. I am also including two reciepts where i used my checking card in pakistan. Is this sufficient info for an ongoing relationship? We never really emailed eachother. We sent some messages through facebook here and there but thats about it. On the actual u.s. cellular phone bill, ive been using phone cards and it will not supply her number on the bill, just the 800 number that i dialed first in order to call to pakistan. Thanks again everyone

One more thing, because my fiance lives in a village in Peshawar, Pakistan, im worried about her receiving mail from the consulate at her home. They usually use my uncles house as the address to recieve letters and such. Should i just use my uncles address as her address on all the documentation. Could this be a problem, or is there another way to go about including a different shipping address, rather then her home address? thanks again

Another question, while its on my mind, where it says family name on the top of the I-129f, my fiancee last name on paper is Bibi, but her fathers last name(family name) is Ahmad. What should i put in that blank?

What name appears in her passport? That would be the name they match to, I think.
