Getting antsy while we await the oath letter, due to general neurotic tendencies as well as summer travel plans.

Had the interview/test (passed) on April 28th, but could not receive approval/oath letter because 3 year residency date was May 3rd. So, waiting.... Our mail comes to a post office box, so normally we don't go there every day. I'm wondering if I can go by getting "touched" online and then head to the post office when we see that has happened.

So, anyone get touched right before receiving an oath letter?

touches are not the best method to determine activity on your account - especially when waiting for mail from USCIS. Have you looked on previous months to see if anyone interviewed and took the oath at the same location as you? sometimes, that could provide some trend of when and how long it will take to receive the oath letter.

We are still waiting for our oath ceremony date letters...passed the interview on March 30th so as of today it has been 6 weeks! I am antsy too and wanting to make travel plans so I found out where the oath ceremony was being held (it's in a town near us) called and asked when the next ceremonies were scheduled.....not til July 16th! So I took a leap of faith and made my travel plans....if you know where your oath ceremony is going to be, it might help to call and see when the next few are scheduled....just a thought...

Cheers!
